Foundation HELP runs a flexible volunteer
intern program with assignments built around the specific interests of the
prospective volunteer.
Placements available in Musoma include:
- Teaching and working with AIDS orphans/
widows to support micro-business and other activities
- environmental conservation with special
emphasis on a multi-sector approach in accordance with
Local Agenda 21
- sustainable agriculture
- health issues
- women and children rights
- lobbying and advocacy in various
issues
- water and sanitation
- coordination of Foundation HELP's projects
from the head office
If volunteers are interested in working in Mwanza, Kagera, Shinyanga and Kigoma, a wide variety of opportunities exist to work
with refugees or refugee-affected communities on similar projects or others
such as:
- food aid distribution
- community health clinics
- nutritional
campaigns
- renewable energy
- and more...
Foundation HELP has the ability to create a
customized volunteer program that matches your interests, skills and time.
Volunteers are responsible for obtaining a
return ticket, health insurance, and the appropriate visa before their
departure to Tanzania.
